Mr. Idris holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration and Management from Yaba College of Technology, A Certified Microfinance Banker (MCIB) of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria-CIBN, Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN), Chartered Institute of Loan & Risk Management (CILRM) and Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS).
He is an authorized securities trader of The Nigerian Stock Exchange with over 12 years professional experience in Accounting, Financial control, Portfolio management, Securities trading and Risk management spanning the hospitality, investment banking and microfinance industry. He has worked as an Account Executive in Whispering Palms Resort and Resano Securities Ltd (A Member of The Nigerian Stock Exchange) between 2006 and 2010, Securities trader, Portfolio manager and Acting Financial Controller at Securities Solutions Ltd before joining Mainstreet Bank Microfinance Bank Ltd in 2012, working in different capacities ranging from Internal Control, Branch management and currently the Chief Financial Officer. He is an M. B Taiwo ICAN Foundation Prize Winner in Economics (May 2006). He has attended several trainings and seminars.
